Imo State Set to Unveil the Tallest Statue of Jesus Christ in Africa (Photos)

The tallest statue of Jesus Christ in Africa is about to be unveiled in Nigeria later this month, and it is in Imo state.

According to The Cable, Africa’s ‘tallest statue of Jesus Christ,’ is set to be unveiled in Abajah Local Government Area of Imo state, on January 1st, 2016 at Aloysius Catholic Church.

The statue named ‘Jesus de Greatest’, is said to be 28 feet tall.

Obinna Onuoha, founder of Premier Petroleum Limited, reportedly funded and offered the statue to the church.
