A lecturer at the Rivers State owned Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Dr. Ebirien Fubara, and his son have been killed by unknown gunmen.
Fubara was on secondment to the Rivers State Electoral Commission, RSIEC.
This is as the lecturer’s wife’s brother, Okwudiri, who was in the house when the hoodlums struck, is said to be in critical condition as at the time of filing the report.
The incident occurred at about 2a.m, at their residence along Peter Odili Road, Port Harcourt, even as the cause of the killings could not be ascertained.
